Adam grew up around the Sussex, New Brunswick ballooning community. He fondly remembers his mother dragging him and his brother out of bed in the early morning hours to help crew and chase balloons when they were elementary age.
Adam has worked as a paramedic for 15 years, which he feels helps him make quick, confident decisions in the basket.
He started his journey to becoming a pilot in 2023, training in the Valley and Sussex. He loves sharing the magic of ballooning with anyone that will get in the basket.
Erin grew up in Dartmouth and was introduced to ballooning by Adam when he brought her onto the field at the Atlantic Balloon Fiesta one early morning to show her how to crew and what it was all about.
For her ballooning isn’t about thrill seeking — it’s about presence. It’s about creating space for people to celebrate something important, face a fear, or simply take in a moment they’ll remember forever. She is currently working towards getting her pilots license along with working fulltime as a Paramedic.
